Hi there. We do have an import that we can do for you to transfer your data over from Basecamp. Email me directly at tmalone@pelotonics.com and I will walk you through the details.
You will just need to export your XML file from Basecamp and send it to us. We will then get all of your data into Pelotonics for you to look at and see the difference. I know you will love the difference.
One note: we cannot transfer the files from Basecamp. If they are on your FTP site, then you will have access to them, but they will not be linked up as they were in Basecamp.

Import Problem:
I have exported my Basecamp XML and attempted to import it into Pelotonics. However, I get an error saying I have more projects than my account is allowed.
Do archived accounts count toward the total? I only have 25 active accounts in Basecamp right now and my Pelotonics account should allow 35. I do have around 25 archived projects.
Hi Shelby. Wow! That Basecamp import feature is not supposed be be exposed to the public. I apologize for this. In order to import your BC file, you can send me the backup file and I will have my team do it. My email is tmalone@pelotonics.com.
Also, do you have any existing data in Pelotonics? The import only works for "virgin" Pelotonics accounts right now.
I apologize for the confusion. Let me know if I can help you out by getting your information into Pelotonics though!
To answer your question on the project count, we do count both archived and active projects as we treat them a bit different than Basecamp. All archived projects are still active in our system, we just take them from your Project tab's default view.
That having been said, I would be happy to work something out with you on the billing to make sure that you are at the same level that you were at with Basecamp. Again, just send me an email and we can start the discussion.

Any word on my import situation? I sent an email explaining my project count problem and attached the XML file for the import on the 1st. I'm afraid if I don't get my company switched over soon, I'll lose them to Basecamp!
