    Hi

I've just started using Pelotonics and my team are evaluating its use right now. So far all is good, but... a couple of points:

First, is there a way to alter the date formats? The system uses the US-standard (mm/dd/yyyy). We're in Australia and I'm originally from the UK where the format is always dd/mm/yyyy. A small point, but it's tricky to 'read'.

Second, I couldn't find any way of telling the system which time zone is required. As a result, our 'timings' are out of whack. Here in Melbourne we're currently +11hrs ahead of GMT or +16hrs ahead of US EST.

Lastly, the company information requires a 5-digit postal (zip) code. But here in Australia, we only use 4 (in the UK, it's like Canada where there are usually 6 or 7 characters).

  2. Hi Chris,

Thanks for the questions! Here are my responses...

    1. That is a good point on the date formats. Currently the system only allows US formats. Though you have a very good point. I will look into getting the system to allow for different formats.

    2. For now, just enter the timezone according to the people (where they're located) when adding a new person or by editing their profiles. Currently we're just gathering the data and not using the timezone data. Very soon, all of the appointments will be represented by where each person is.

    3. I was pretty sure that I removed all of the required formating off of the phone numbers and zip codes. I will double check this tomorrow morning, and I will include the fix with tomorrow's deployment.

  3. Hi Chris,

I have fixed the Zip code issue when editing a person... Though I couldn't find the error you were talking about when creating/editing a company. Hopefully you meant the Person.

    Let me know otherwise!

    Hi Daniel

Thanks for the fixes. Initially, I was having trouble with the post code on the user information screen - basically when I first registered my details. But now I can correctly enter the information.

With regards to the timezone - it just throws out some of the tasks. Right now it's Friday in Melbourne, but Thursday in the US, so id I create a task now, it thinks it's been created on Thursday. Not a big thing I guess because it's not tracking time as such.

  5. Chris,

GREAT comment on the timezones. Currently our servers are in San Diego, CA, USA. So Everything is currently based on that...

Though we're working on "using" the timezone data to translate for each user's timezone location.
