    Hi,

after adding an EverNote to the Files section, all I get is the little graphic files contained in the Note but nowhere can I find the text of the added Note.
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

  2. Great question. When you add an Evernote as a file in Pelotonics, it is not going to pull over the textual description.

To do this, add it as a Message and you will have a message with those files as an attachment. Those file attachments will also appear in the Files section.

I will look into this to see if we could do it differently. I understand how that could be confusing.

    Thanks,

    Troy

    Hi Troy,

    Well, my little wish:
where ever you add (documents etc), the added file should be an exact copy of the note in EverNote.
    Possible?

    thanks

  4. I think that is definitely possible. I will talk with Daniel, our CTO, to discuss this and get back to you. I am thinking that we would upload the file of course, but also attach the text in your Evernote to the Description with that file.

Here's the only hang-up I see. If you have multiple files in your Evernote, but one textual note that goes with all of those files, we need to figure out where we include the text because this scenario would create multiple files in Pelotonics...

The note that you uploaded to Pelotonics, did it have just one file attached? or was it multiple?

We will make changes here once we scope it out and see that it makes sense. Thanks for making us aware of this situation...

    Troy,

"The note that you uploaded to Pelotonics, did it have just one file attached? or was it multiple?"

    It was just one note.
That note was a clipping from the 'Clip to Evernote' service, while surfing of course.
It contained some translation info and some little graphics (country flags).
Only these graphics showed up (seperately) in the Files section.
There was no text portion (as mentioned in the original post).

    That was about it.

    Just thinking out loud:
why not always add notes with 'message' choice checked?
All imported or added material then will always be accompanied with an informative text-message.

    hmmm

    Hi,

Is there any way to allow access to certain evernote notebooks and restrict access to others. I would like to share my work notebook notes while I keep my personal notes private.

    Thanks.

  8. clinks,

Only you can see your Evernote tab (that you configured with your Evernote account). From there, you can choose to create a task, message, or a straight file upload into Pelotonics from your Evernotes.

Let me know if that makes sense or not.

  9. Yes Clinks. We designed the integration such that it is all done on a personal basis. Each person that enables Evernote integration gets a personalized Evernote tab that only displays their personal note. No one else can view that or otherwise "mess" with it.

We did have another client that did create a corporate Evernote account that they were using for the whole company. This helps get around the mixing of personal with business. Using this method, you would have someone sign up for an Evernote account that would be the "corporate" account. Then everyone would enter in those credentials into the Pelotonics system and get the Evernote tab. Now everyone is seeing the same notes and can work with them together.

I hope that makes sense. So you have two choices to meet your needs!

    Thanks,

    Troy
