1. We created an announcement section on the Dashboard for Pelotonics to notify our users of new functionality and changes to the system.

2. There was a bug opening a message or comment from the Dashboard Latest Activity.

3. The Print Link for the Task Report was disappearing after you applied one of the filters.

4.From the Messages Tab there is a Print link on on each Message now that will Open a print window with that Message and its Comments.

5. Various minor bugs fixes (functional and GUI).

As usual we're solving the world's problems one step at a time. Here are a few of those steps.

1. On the Global Calendar, there is a agenda view now (which you can print too).

2. On the new Agenda View for the Global and Project level calendar's we added in a new filter, so you can just view 1 month if you want.

3. The payment system was only sending out invoices from the auto bill once every
30 days. Though if you upgrade and get charged money, you should get an invoice for that too... thus, I've fixed that now. Anytime the we process your credit card, you get an invoice through email.

4. The time stamp is on the messages now (it use to only be on the comments).

5. We totally redid the To-Do List Template section. We had a customer with over 100 To-Do List Templates and the page was loading slow. So I decided to redo the way the page works! You'll notice a sortable list like on the Projects Tab with all of your To-Do Lists and from there you can go in and edit one of them. This way it's a little easier to see which List you want to work on (thanks Carol for the suggestion on this).

6. Various minor bugs fixes (functional and GUI).

That's it for today!

I just saw the Demo of the iCal feed that's in development. It's hot!!! Not only are your Milestones and Tasks (that have a due dates on them) going to come over to your Calendar application, we have a full Calendar in Pelotonics with recurring appointments, and the whole 9 yards. Get ready for an iCal feed that is filled with kickassness.

Daniel Marashlian, M.Ed. <---- I love throwing that in every once and a while!

2. There was a minor UI bug not hiding the Upload button on the file upload modal.

As we cleaned up some of the due date and reminder dates error handling, we figured that we should finish up the job.

1.) We added the Due date to the Milestone Drop-Down List when associating a To-Do List to a Milestone.
2.) We fixed the error handling in the new appointment and new to-do list modals
3.) If you had a ampersand '&' in your company or project names, we had some minor URL encoding issues. Those are fixed now.
4.) In IE7 the body of the Summary page was pulling a disappearing act sometimes when you would mouse over the Quick Links or the Time tracking Link. That is fixed now.

1. We are making good progress on our Alpha version of the Outlook plug-in. And we hope to have it in private beta testing by the 14th, then soon to release to the public for it's beta rounds.
2. There was a Input/Output bug if you changed your URL if you had an account that was created before Oct. This is fixed now.
3. A few users noticed some issues with due date/reminder dates with milestones, to-do lists, and to-do lists when associated to a milestone. All of the issues have been FIXED and there is nice inline error message not a ugly javascript popup message.
4. There were weird AJAX errors on the new “show completed tasks” checkbox filter, this is now fixed.
5. We did a minor redesign of the task report. There were too many header bars, so we made it a little simpler and cleaner.
6. We hid the request update link on a task if the only person assigned to the task is the logged in user.
7. In the edit file modal, the file name is just a label now not a read-only textbox
8. There was a bug on the initial sign-up and creating your first project... The project name stayed “Your Company Name” until you signed out and back in. This is fixed.

That's it for today!

What we're working on:

1. an easy and simple way to add/edit/delete message and file folders.
2. there is a simple bug on the time tracking report for Admins. This will be fixed by tomorrow.
3. The Outlook Plug-in!!!
4. iCal feeds!!!
5. Google Docs integration!!!
6. Have the ability to add a user with no email address or multiple email addresses (user requests).

2. You can now add file folders on the fly from the files tab (just like when creating a new message).
3. The Notifications UI was cleaned up a bit on the message and task comment pages.

We have changed some fundamental ideas for our free plan. Please view our pricing page for more details. To start out you can ONLY signup for the free plan. From there, you can upgrade at anytime for one of our paying plans. SSL is now available on ALL paid plans!

On the Free Plan, the abilities to use SSL, using your own FTP server, and the ability to add your own company logo have all been removed. We have NOT limited any collaboration, though we feel the ability to manage 2 Projects and store up to 50MB of file storage for FREE, is an AMAZING deal! We feel with our Evernote integration, and our soon to come Outlook plug-in, that you find true value in Pelotonics and choose to truly USE the application and upgrade to a paying plan to Unlock the full potential of Pelotonics.

Also, we have moved to OAuth authentication with Evernote so you don't have to store your Evernote username/password on Pelotonics' servers anymore. Read more about how to configure your Evernote account here.

One more thing, if you notice on the Edit Person page, we added a "Use Company's Address" checkbox, so you can easily pull in the company's address into the individual person.

Thanks for reading!

I did a quick deployment today with 1 customer request and one thing we forgot to do on the new task report.

1. On the task report, we now have a link to take the user into that to-do list within a Project.
2. On the create milestone modal (and create multiple milestones modal), we now have the option to send out the notification or not (just like when creating a task)... Thanks for the suggestion Carol!

Hi Pelotonics users,

I this is what our deployment on 10.25.08 included:

1. We have a new filter on the task page and by default it hides the checked off tasks. If you want to see your completed items, just check the checkbox and the completed tasks will show up!
2. When you remove someone from a project their associations get removed too… like from milestones, tasks, and appointments.
3. We alphabetized the to-do list templates from the template page, as well as in the drop down list when you're selecting the to-do list template from the new to-do list modal.
4. A few minor UI issues throughout the site. If anything is 1 pixel off let us know! We stride to be perfect in all major browsers.
5. We are now charging people for pelotonics again (sorry users... money always gets in the way)
6. The evernote integration is Rockin' and Rollin' - TRY IT OUT!
7. There was a little bug while uploading a file if you're configured to use your own FTP servers. It is now working properly.
8. new fields for the contacts section, people can now have addresses
9. the time zone field is now related to the person
10. added the notes field on a contact to the list view (admin only read/write)
11. when selecting from existing companies in the add/create company modal, if the company is already in the project don’t show the company in the Drop down list.
12. We have a filter on the task report now, IT ROCKS! Makes the task report very useful now.
13. The report tab is enabled for simple users now.
a. If you’re part of the paying company, you get both reports (you can only edit your time). You can view people’s tasks that you would have access to in the projects as normal.
b. If you’re not I the paying company, you only have the task report
14. When adding/editing/deleting an appointment stay in the month you were in
15. You can now view everyone in the task report that you would have access to in the project
16. In Evernote, if you’re searching for something the focus of the enter button is on the search button now
17. In Evernote, In the quickview, the attachments pull over for you to download (if you choose to)
18. And some other very minor bugs that aren’t worth mentioning!

It has certainly been a productive summer here at Pelotonics. We have been busy over the past few months and would like to inform you about our recent developments.

Evernote Integration! It’s done and live and people are talking about it...

Imagine getting an idea in the supermarket and being able to take a voice note on your phone before you forget it. But now what? The next step is to assign that brilliant idea out to someone on your team through the Pelotonics system! This is all a reality now. We have finished our integration with Evernote and we are finding ourselves using it more and more each day. Here are some use cases that you can review to get your creative juices flowing. If you have not tried Evernote, you can sign up for a free account and start using it with Pelotonics today. If you are a Getting Things Done (GTD) fanatic, you will love this integration. Evernote is your “ubiquitous capture” solution and Pelotonics is the trusted system that manages all of your actions related to those captures.

We are live with PeloTV!
We decided that we wanted to be better connected to our users so we created PeloTV. We are broadcasting live every time we are in the office! You can watch PeloTV at any time. We find it most convenient when our users have questions. They can see that we are in the office and ask us the question directly. Come and talk with us. We would love to hear from you!

Outlook Integration (for Outlook users)
Our Outlook integration is looking great. We are putting the finishing touches on it to make sure that you will be amazed when we release it. How neat will it be to have your Pelotonics system talking with your Outlook? Our goal is to allow our users to do what they normally do and at the same time be interfacing with Pelotonics. This is a major step in that direction. We should be launching this add-on very soon.

Notable Software Updates:
In the past few months we have released many different feature enhancements and bug fixes; way too many to mention! Here are a few of the highlights:
1. You can now take notes regarding anyone in your system. These notes are displayed on the Contacts section of the application.
2. We made it easy to import contacts from your Outlook into Pelotonics.
3. You can add people to multiple projects with one click when you are editing their profile.
4. You can now export contacts from the Pelotonics system as CSV or V-card files.
5. Multiple User Interface changes that have improved the intuitiveness of the application.
6. We added the "Projects" tab to help our users better organize and make sense of their projects.
7. Added the ability to archive projects so that they don’t appear on the "Projects" tab.
8. We added a filter to the task report on the dashboard that will now allow you to see tasks that are due today, in the next 5 days, etc.

Billing Status
While we have been working on the application over the past few months, we have taken a "billing holiday". I hope that you all enjoyed it! We will now be on a regular schedule for billing. Be expecting your normal monthly charges to resume in the next day or so. The charge will be from Pelotonics, Inc.

We released a lot of bug fixes and one User Interface Change.

We removed the templates tab!!! Though not to worry, it's in the Admin section.

Watch this PeloCast for a demonstration of where the Templates tab went.

Also, we've given the Message and To-Do List Templates a face lift on the UI side. As well as resolved some bugs:

Java Script errors on the Dashboard page

  Privacy issues with to-do lists

The system lets you know it's working if you're uploading a big file now, rather than just sitting there wondering what the browser is doing.

The display of associated to-do lists on the milestone page.

you can now drag-and-drop a task in an empty list

the models are working properly in Safari now by blacking out the whole screen

file calculation bug when uploading a file from the messages or comments section
